HELLO, I AM EMMANOUELA

I am a qualified yoga instructor specialising in yoga and wellbeing practices for adults, children and families.

My approach brings together yoga, mindful movement, breathing, relaxation and body awareness. I create welcoming and inclusive sessions where each person has space to move at their own pace, listen to their body and dedicate time to their physical and emotional wellbeing.

I completed a Yoga Teacher Training at Bhavana Yoga Centre in Athens, followed by specialist training in children’s and family yoga with Rainbow Kids Yoga and Yoga Beez (100 hours). I have many years of experience teaching yoga, movement and wellbeing and working with children, families and adults from different cultural backgrounds and with different abilities.

My background in Drama in Education, creative movement and physical theatre also informs my practice. Movement, imagination and mindful awareness come together to create sessions that are engaging, accessible and responsive to the individual or group.

I have extensive experience working with children, including children with additional educational needs. Inclusion, emotional safety and respect for individual differences are central to the way I work.

YOGA FOR ADULTS

My adult yoga sessions offer dedicated time to move, breathe and slow down.

Through yoga postures, mindful movement, breathing practices and relaxation, I encourage you to develop greater awareness of your body and create space for rest and calm.

The focus is on wellbeing rather than performance. You do not need previous yoga experience, flexibility or a particular level of fitness. I encourage each person to work at their own pace and respect their body’s individual needs and limits.

YOGA FOR CHILDREN

Children experience yoga differently from adults. My sessions reflect this.

I combine yoga poses, movement, breathing, relaxation, imagination and playful activities to create an experience suited to children’s developmental needs.

My long experience in early years and primary education, drama, movement and children’s yoga shapes this approach. Children have opportunities to explore movement without competition or pressure, develop body awareness and concentration, build confidence, and experience moments of calm.

I have worked extensively with children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, including children with additional educational needs. I adapt activities to the group and create an environment where every child feels welcome and included.

YOGA FOR FAMILIES

Family yoga creates dedicated time for children and adults to move, play and connect together.

Sessions combine yoga, partner and group activities, breathing, movement, relaxation and playful interaction. Parents and children participate together, with activities designed to encourage cooperation, communication and shared enjoyment.

There is no expectation to achieve particular poses or perform in a particular way. The focus is on the experience of being together.

My specialist training in family yoga, combined with my experience working with children and families, informs an approach that respects different ages, abilities and family dynamics.

MY APPROACH

For me, yoga begins with attention to the body, the breath and the present moment.

Whether I am working with an adult, a child or a family, I aim to create a calm, supportive and inclusive environment, free from judgement and competition.

I encourage people to listen to their bodies, respect their own limits and experience movement, breathing and relaxation as part of caring for their everyday wellbeing.

Sessions are available in Greek and English.
