I am a hematologist. I have extensive experience with both benign blood disorders (anemias, white blood cell disorders, platelet disorders, bleeding, thrombosis, gestational thrombophilia, anticoagulant management, etc.) and malignant blood disorders (leukemias, lymphomas, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative syndromes, multiple myeloma, bone marrow transplantation, etc.).

Upon completion of my specialization in Hematology in 2013 (University of Athens), and my PhD thesis, I subspecialized in Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Sheba Medical Center – Tel Hashomer Hospital, Israel (worldwide reference center). I then worked for a number of years as a specialist hematologist in major hemato-oncology centers in Great Britain (Royal Marsden, Royal Liverpool, Southmead Bristol, Luton), while I have been a scientific associate of the European University of Cyprus. For a number of years I have also worked in Greece as an Academic Scholar of the University of Athens, and as a Consultant Hematologist at the Athens Medical Center.
