Anna graduated from the Medical School of Perugia (Italy) and started her Specialization in Pediatric Surgery in Greece, which she continued in France. In addition to her specialization, she was involved in research (including a doctorate at the University of Athens in Experimental Thoracic Surgery), as well as a Master in Minimally Invasive, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery.

During her working career, she had the opportunity to work at the “Necker-Enfants Malades University Hospital” in Paris, which is a reference center for dealing with serious and complex pediatric pathologies, from where she obtained a diploma in pediatric urology. She has been working in Belgium since 2011 and currently she is a member of the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Children’s Hospital Queen Fabiola (HUDERF). Moreover, she runs private consultations within Brussels and she operates privately at Chirec Hospital Group.

Throughout her medical career, her primary concern was always the best treatment and the well-being of her patients. She always liked to work in high quality, modern and well-equipped installations and she especially aimed to join teams with active, motivated and competent colleagues.

Anna has a working experience of more than 15 years in Pediatric Surgery. Being totally convinced that the child is not a young adult, she worked hard to acquire the necessary training and specialized skills for the proper surgical treatment of young patients in order to be able to cover, together with her colleagues, all the spectrum of Pediatric and Neonatal Surgery.

Dedicated to children along with great sensitivity to human relationships, she exposes all her skills, experience, smile and gentleness to reassure her patients and achieve their best cooperation. Anna’s willingness to help children and their parents make her always available to answer all your questions and concerns, in the most professional way as she deeply understands your worries about your children health. Thanks to her linguistic skills, she communicates with her patients in French, English, Italian or Greek, depending on their preference.
